Returning to the woods as the colours of the leaves begin to turn reminds us to embrace the changing seasons of our lives and of the world around us. Moving close to the earth with all our senses open we re-discover our roots and the interconnectedness of all things. The trees stand as witnesses and as anchors as we move through their domain over, under and between. Human body to tree body, respectful and attentive, exchanging breath and heartbeat, glimpsing the autumnal sky through the canopy. Grateful to be alive.
